Here I go diving into Amazon Web Services I never thought I would be on to use or have a need for AWS! I have found that with one of my projects or should I say with one of my business ventures. I have found that I was in need of static yet secure hosting of static content in large volumes as is gigabytes of content. With me branching out in to Video Animations with root.MEDIA. With several hundred different animations needing sample videos to show them off and not wanting them to be hosted by Youtube or Vimeo.
I have started to implement a S3 storage and delivery service for the several hundred video animations that I will be offering. The basic function is to store the video files in mp4 and have them opened on a site that I am setting up that will handle the ordering and payments.
While this is just the beginning of my adventure with Amazon Web Services and I know I am just stretching the surface of what could potentially be my next big offering. Thought there is a fair bit to what AWS is able to do and offers. I can see myself utilizing more of the AWS services for my self as well my clients.
