You know when you go to a web page and you sign up for their services and during the sign up process and when you setup your payment option and you get Error (403), there is going to be problems with that service.
As I was signing up for a new Web Hosting Resellers account I encountered several errors during the process. The first error that I encountered was that the companies sign up system would not accept my existing domain name root.MEDIA it told me that it was invalid as a domain name. Which is not the case as I have been using the domain root.MEDIA for several years and it has been registered to me. instead of me using my already owned Domain Name I decided to register a new domain that I would get free with the account so I picked the Domain sogoodhosting.com which was find and I can not complain it is a great domain name.
As I proceeded to fill out all my contact information with the sign up system and proceeded to the payment options so I selected PayPal as my payment option the sign up system then redirected me to PayPal.com and I logged in to my PayPal Account and authorized the billing agreement for the service. Well once that was done I was taken back to the companies web site but this time all I got was Error 403 Access Denied. Yes I did call the tech support but they where unable to assist me in any way.
On the Tuesday I received two emails from the company with my client id’s and password to get into the account management system so I contacted their sales department to inform them that they system was malfunctioning so I then again process the billing agreement with PayPal this time it worked with out any errors. It then took them 2 more days to finally get my new services configured. As I was beginning to setup sub accounts on the new service there was yet more errors. This time the Web Host Management system kept telling me that the domains already existed in the DNS Cluster. Back on the phone with Technical support and a couple days later I try again adding the accounts.
I hear back from Technical Support and they say I should be able to add those domains now that they have removed any traces from the DNS Cluster, well that did not happen as I tried again I kept getting the same error message that the domain was already in the DNS Cluster. Let alone I was having issues with the WHMCS system not letting me modify the setting and such with in the WHMCS system. Back on the phone with Technical Support and this time as they searched for the domains that I was trying to add to the system it would clear out any traces and I was able to add those domains to the system.
After spending the entire night transferring and setting up the the site for those domains I went to bed, I than was woke up to find that none of the sites that I was hosting where working including the sites that I had not transfered to the new service. Upon investiagation I found that the new Service provider had somehow managed to delete the entire DNS Zone for root.MEDIA which than caused all my Name Servers to go down. Back again on the phone to Technical Support to resolve this issue. They resolved it fairly quickly and all the Web Sites I host came back to life.
At this point I thought to my self “Okay now everything should be fine and I should not have anymore issues!” Well that was not true I tried to then send an email through the WHMCS system to only find out that the IP address for the server was Blacklisted and the emails where returned to me with fatal errors because the server was blacklisted,
After almost two weeks of struggling with new service I decided to explore new options for my Web Hosting needs so that is when I discovered inMotionHosting.com and signed up for the resellers account and with in seconds of me hitting the submit button on the order page my account was setup, welcome emails where sent to me and I had access to the WHM and Cpanel. I was able to transfer all the sites from the other service provider in about 6 hours and have not had any issue with the new Service.
